Cheesecake on a Stick

This festival favorite is served annually by one of the first food booths to join the festival, the Hindman Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Members make over 3000 dipped cheesecake slices in the weeks leading up to the festival.

It starts with classic flavored cheesecake in thickly cut slices, which are then dipped into melted milk chocolate, which will harden as the cheesecake dries. On top of the milk chocolate is a white chocolate drizzle. The slices are then frozen until ready to serve

Gingerbread Delight

Another festival classic, Gingerbread Delight takes on classic gingerbread and gives it a twist, full of flavor with caramel, chocolate, fruit, and all the fixins’. For a gingerbread lover, this is sure to be a homerun.

Classic Gingerbread

What gives the festival its namesake, this gingerbread recipe is a middle-ground recipe for all the various criteria a gingerbread critic looks for. Not too chewy, not too soft. Not too thick, not too thin. Glaze, but not overly sweet. Make this one at home or away, but come to the festival to see how it measures up with each booth’s special spin on the signature dish.
